Create Access - Build a Fortnite Island

Build a Fortnite Island to Honor Black History Month

Did you know that you can build your own custom experiences in Fortnite, and learn valuable technical skills while you do it? Join PYB and CreateAccess in creating a Fortnite island that features you (yes, you!) sharing about one of your role models in the Black community. You’ll be able to add your own avatar, voice, and models of real-world objects from your own life in a playable Fortnite island!

This two-session program is a great fit for anyone interested in game development, computer science, computer graphics, art, animation, or engineering - or anyone who wants to learn more about any of these things. Space is limited - sign up today!

Family members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

***To be able to participate fully in the program, please think about a positive role model in the Black community who you look up to, and bring an object with you to the program that represents this person or their importance in your life. We’ll show you how to create a digital 3D model of this object, and bring it into Fortnite!

CreateAccess is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that engages learners in educational opportunities in 3D creation. Please contact Liz Dailey, Co-Founder & Executive Director, with any questions: liz@createaccess.org or 484-202-0868.
